The lineup for the Paid Dues Hip-Hop Festival has been announced! A bunch of great names have thrown themselves in the ring to make an appearance this year at what seems to be a fairly new event. If you are a hip hop head make sure you check out the lineup, location, and dates and see if you can get out to this festival! In slightly more exciting news, the lineup for Lollapalooza 2013 has been announced! And the roster this year could not be more exciting. Many are saying that it is the best of the three major festival lineups this year. What do you think? You can find the full lineup by following the link back to Stereogum.
The prolific Ty Segall put out a new song today! “Motivator” is a cover of a song by a band called T-Rex. Knowing Ty Segall, this new song is most likely a fine piece of grungy, fuzzy work. If you are interested in the new song, you can check it out by following the link back to Stereogum.
Just in case you are interested, there is a video floating around the interwebs today where you lucky music-heads can watch Alec Baldwin interview Thom Yorke. Because, why not? Kurt Vile has made his new record Walkin’ On A Pretty Daze available to stream for free. Check it out while you still can! The link is at Consequence of Sound.
