Seattle fans at a Kings of Leon concert might have experienced bizarre turn of events: they might have been exposed to measles. This is not the first time the band has had issues with fan safety at their shows but this might be the most bizarre case yet. Check out the full story back at Consequence of Sound.

Bassnectar has finally given his fans a long-awaited update on the status of his music. In a statement this week he announced that he has completed work on 26 new songs and also has a brand new full album on the way. If you’re a fan, you can breath a sigh of relief. In an effort to constantly outdo his own brand of indie-approved creativity, Jack White has announced plans to record a new song, press it to vinyl, and release it, all in the same day. How To Dress Well has announced a new album, entitled What Is This Heart? In promotion for the new record, he released a new song from the LP, Repeat Pleasure, and made it available to stream on the internet. Check out the song and the full story back at Consequence of Sound.

And finally, entertainment legend and talk show icon David Letterman announced today that he would be retiring from his duties hosting Late Show with David Letterman sometime in 2015.
