Arcade Fire’s Win Butler joined Billy Joe Armstrong, Neil Young, and Beck in an interview for the Associated Press in which they discussed the influence that Nirvana and Kurt Cobain had over their lives and their music. You can find snippets from Butler’s conversation, as well as a link to the full Associated Press article, back at Stereogum.

Anna Kendrick is hosting Saturday Night Live this week with musical guest Pharrell Williams. They recorded a few promos in advance of the big show on Saturday, pulling humor from topics like Pharrell’s song Happy or his famously giant hat. La Roux have announced a whole new set of tour dates for the 2014 summer. The dates, stretching throughout June and July, will see the band traveling all around the United States and Canada, including a festival spot at The Govenor’s Ball in New York. What’s more, select dates will feature a special guest in New Order. Check out the full list of dates back at Consequence of Sound.
