It seems that more news about festivals is coming out every day! This upcoming festival season is sure to be one of the most insane in recent years. Today we start off with the news that the English music festival Dot To Dot has released the first batch of its featured performers. Among those listed are Dry the River, Lucy Rose, Little Green Cars, Wave Machines, Wolf Alice, Bo Ningen, PINS, The 1975, and Chapel Club. You can check out the full list of scheduled performers as well as check out more information about the festival by following the link back to The Line of Best Fit.
Belle and Sebastian have announced a tour of North America that includes a bunch of festival dates. You can check out the full list and see if they’re coming to a town near you by following the link back to Consequence of Sound.
A new new track has debuted from Trent Reznor’s alternative rock outfit How To Destroy Angels. You can listen to “And the Sky Began to Scream” by following the link back to Stereogum.
A new track has also premiered from the electronic music production duo of Dyro and Bassjackers. You can listen to the new song, entitled “Grid” by following the link back to Oh So Fresh Music.
The Procussions have debuted a new track, entitled “Today.” This normally wouldn’t be ground-breaking news, but this track has the unique distinction of featuring one of the game’s most talented rappers, Shad. And, at least in my humble opinion, everything that Shad touches turns into gold. So I don’t have to tell you twice that it would be within your best interest to go and check out this new track. You can find it by following the link back to the center of hip-hop news, 2dopeboyz.
Trip-hop all stars Blue Sky Black Death have released a collection of instrumentals in the form of a beat tape called Euphoric. Blue Sky Black Death are known for their consistency and their continually high quality. And these beats have apparently been highly anticipated. So go listen!
