Hello pretty people! Welcome to the Daily Round-Up, redOrbit’s greatest assortment of all the latest, greatest, and sweetest music news of the day. Let’s get right down to business, shall we?

Billy Idol has announced that he is working on a new record, which would be his first in a decade. Check out the full story back at Consequence of Sound.

The Libertines have also announced a long-awaited return to action, with a new tour and a possible new record on the way. Check out all the details back at Consequence of Sound.

Up-and-coming superstar producer Mike Will Made It has released a star-studded new track. The tune, entitled Buy The World, features Future, Lil Wayne, and Kendrick Lamar. You can find it for yourself back at Barrellhouse Brooklyn.

The Bonnaroo Music and Arts festival went down this weekend in Manchester, Tennessee. You will surely see and hear plenty about it all over the internet, but here are a few tidbits of recapitulation: Kanye West turned in a totally Kanye-esque performance, Skrillex put an absolutely nutty superjam of music, Jack White, Arctic Monkeys, and Elton John all put on great performances, and after the fest, Deadmau5 renounced the festival genre in an interview. In case you missed it, this Sunday Dancing Astronaut were kind of enough to supply us with another edition of their playlist series Sunday Morning Medicine. If you’re unfamiliar, the Medicine is a lovingly curated collection of tracks that are guaranteed to sooth, relax, chill, and cleanse your soul after a long weekend of activity and fun. If you’re still feeling some lasting effects from your weekend, or are just in the mood for some chill tunes, be sure to check out Dancing Astronaut.

NPR are streaming a ton of records today for free ahead of their upcoming releases. Among the albums are new material from Phish, Circulatory System, Phox, Brownout, Rolê and Strand Of Oaks. Check out all of these records for yourself back at NPR Music.
