Up-and-coming electronic producer Ryan Hemsworth has premiered a new song. You can hear the song, entitled Every Square Inch, back at Gorilla vs. Bear.
Indie and folk band The Sea The Sea appeared on NPR’s Mountain Stage series this week to perform a lengthy set of their songs. The episode, which marks The Sea The Sea’s second appearance on the Mountain Stage, consists of their live performance in Charleston, West Virginia. You can check out the whole thing for yourself back at NPR Music.
Sam Smith appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman to perform his smash hit song Stay With Me. You can find the video of the performance, complete with Letterman’s extremely positive reaction, back at Stereogum.
Superstar rapper Kendrick Lamar stopped by KUBE 93 to partake in an interview covering a variety of topics. You can check out the whole thing for yourself back at 2dopeboyz.
Alt-J has released a new song, presumably a cut off his new album, entitled Hunger of the Pine. You can listen to the song for yourself back at Consequence of Sound.
Robin Thicke has revealed the track listing for his upcoming record, Paula. Because the record is named after Thicke’s estranged wife Paula Patton, many are speculating that the album and its track listing can be decoded to reveal details about the couple’s famous breakup. Either way, you can check out the album cover and track list for the record back at 2dopeboyz.
And, just in case you’re interested for any reason, the new record from RiFF RAFF, entitled NEON iCON, has been made available to stream via Soundcloud. You can check it out back at Stereogum.
And finally, sadly, TBS’s The Pete Holmes Show has been cancelled. As an appropriate send-off for a show taken too soon, Scott Hutchinson of Frightened appeared on the final episode to partake in an interview and to perform the song Poke. You can find video of both the interview and the performance back at Stereogum.
