The Pretenders’ Chrissie Hyde is out promoting her new solo record Stockholm, so this week she stopped by a couple late night talk shows. First she appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to play her song Dark Sunglasses. She then stopped by The Colbert Report to be interviewed and play some more music. Dance producers and up and coming pop superstars Disclosure have released a new remix of Pharrell’s song Frontin’, featuring Jay-Z. You can find the song back at Consequence of Sound.

Google is interested in purchasing music streaming and playlist curation service Songza for $15 million, presumably for use with its own products. The suspected purpose of the acquisition seems to be for the smarter curation of its own massive Google Play service.
