Weather Forecast for North America on April 18, 2013
High pressure over Greenland will bring nice weather to the region; this will extend southeastward towards Iceland as well. A strong storm system moving through the central United States will bring another round of severe weather, heavy rains and snows to the area. A storm system pushing on shore over the west coast will bring a few showers to Vancouver. Trade winds will bring partly cloudy skies to Hawaii. Temps will be in the middle 20’s across most of Greenland, warming to the 40’s over the northeast United States and the mid 60’s west coast. Look for the 70’s across Hawaii and the lower 80’s over the Gulf Coast of the United States.
Weather Forecast for South America on April 18, 2013
Look for a tranquil day across most of northern and central South America with partly cloudy skies dominating the weather. A cold front will transit through the tip of South America bringing rain showers to southern Argentina. Brazil will see the upper 70’s and a few lower 80’s across the country, while the lower to mid 50’s dominate Argentina. The upper 70’s will be found over parts of Chile.
Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on April 18, 2013
A storm system moving through northern Europe will bring showers and extensive cloud cover to the region, partly cloudy skies will extend back towards London, while sunny skies will prevail over Italy. The heat and sun will be present in the Middle East, expect to see another hot day in the region. Temps will be in the mid 50’s over England warming to the lower to mid 70’s from Spain to Italy. Temps across the Middle East will be in the lower to mid 90’s.
Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on April 18, 2013
Sunny skies will prevail through most of northern Africa and westward into the Cape Verde Islands. Showers and cloudy skies will prevail through central Africa and to the east into Madagascar. Partly cloudy skies will be found throughout southern Africa. Most of Africa will be in the 70’s to mid 80’s, while the cooler spots will be found over the Cape Verde Islands with high temps in the upper 60’s to lower 70’s. Look for mid 70’s through most of Madagascar.
Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on April 18, 2013
Partly cloudy skies will persist through India, leading to sunny skies over parts of Sri Lanka. To the east, over Thailand and Singapore, expect to see afternoon showers associated with an area of low pressure to the south of Singapore. Showers will also extend back over most of Indonesia to include Jakarta. Temps will be hot across the region with highs near 100F for places around New Delhi, while the mid 90’s will be found through southern India. Look for the upper 80’s over Singapore and back towards Thailand and also down towards Jakarta.
Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on April 18, 2013
A storm system moving through northeast China will bring some colder air with it and the chance for some snowfall for higher elevations in northern China and northward into northeast Russia. Cloudy skies will extend from the Kuril Islands southward into northern Japan, while an area of high pressure brings partly cloudy skies to southern Japan and Okinawa. Mostly cloudy skies will extend from Hong Kong to Manila, where afternoon showers will be possible. Afternoon showers associated with the easterly trade winds will impact Guam as well. Temps will range from the teens in the northern part of Russia to the 30’s over southern Russia. Temps will be in the 50-60’s for eastern China and across towards Tokyo. Guam and Manila will be in the lower to mid 80’s.
Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for April 18, 2013
Mostly cloudy skies and a few showers will be possible over northern Australia, while the remainder of Australia enjoys partly cloudy skies and a nice fall day. Cloud cover will increase over New Zealand. Temps here will range from the lower 60’s across southeast Australia to the upper 60’s and lower 70’s for the majority of the country.
