International Weather Outlook: April 19, 2013
Weather Forecast for North America on April 19, 2013
Strong low pressure will move into the northeast United States, bringing another round of showers and some snow to parts of the Great Lakes. Look for showers also to develop over portions of Mexico near Mexico City. A storm system moving towards Iceland will bring some snow to the northern region over the next 24hrs. A new storm system pushing in towards the west coast of Canada will bring showers to the coast, impacting places like Vancouver. Look for 20’s to encompass a good portion of Greenland, warming to the 30’s and 40’s over northern Canada and into Iceland. The 50’s and 60’s will spread across a good portion of the northeast United States, while a sharp cool down is in store for the Plains and Gulf Coast region of the United States.
Weather Forecast for South America on April 19, 2013
High pressure towards the south of the region will bring plenty of sunshine to places in southern Argentina. Looking at the setup for sunny skies to spread across Chile, then becoming partly cloudy near Peru. A few clouds will also be possible over parts of Brazil. The 70’s will spread from Peru eastward towards Brazil, where a few 80’s will also be possible. The 60’s will encompass northern Argentina, while the lower 50’s will spread across southern Argentina.
Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on April 19, 2013
A frontal boundary moving through Europe will keep the region with partly to mostly cloudy skies, with a few showers and snow over the northern part of Europe into western Russia. Sunny skies will prevail over Spain and France; however, look for cloudy skies in Italy. The Middle East will enjoy another warm and dry day with plenty of sunshine. Look for the 30’s and 40’s across northeast Europe and into western Russia, while the 50’s will dominate most of England. The 60’s will be found from Madrid eastward to Venice, Italy. It will be plenty hot in the Middle East with places in the upper 90’s and a few 100’s also possible.
Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on April 19, 2013
Sunny skies will prevail across most of the continent with a few clouds near the northern part of Africa along the coastal cities. The warm weather will also follow suit; with all of this sunshine expect to see a warm day across a good portion of the continent. Looking over at Madagascar, there will also be plenty of sunshine in the region. The northern part of Africa will see temps in the mid 80’s with a few 90’s possible. Heading into South Africa look for temps to be in the upper 60’s to lower 70’s. Temps will make it into the lower 80’s for Madagascar.
Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on April 19, 2013
Sunny skies and very warm weather will be found from India southward towards Sri Lanka. Look for increasing clouds over Singapore with the chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms; this will also hold true for Thailand and Malaysia. The heat will be on as places in India soar over the 100 mark, while temps will cool into the mid 80’s for Singapore and Malaysia. Look for 80’s also in Jakarta.
Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on April 19, 2013
Mostly cloudy skies will spread from Eastern Europe northward towards parts of Russia and then eastward into northern Japan. Showers will be possible across southeast China for places like as Hong Kong this will spread eastward into Manila where a few afternoon showers will be possible with mostly cloudy skies. Partly cloudy skies will dominate Guam. Temps will be in the upper 40’s for eastern China and the mid 50’s across a good portion of central and southern Japan; look for the 70’s in Okinawa. Hong Kong will stay in the upper 70’s along with plenty of clouds and showers. Guam will see high temps soar into the mid 80’s.
Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for April 19, 2013
Look for a few showers over northern Australia and towards the southeast near a frontal boundary that is passing through Sydney. Showers will also be over most of New Zealand associated with the same frontal boundary. Temps across western Australia will be in the mid 70’s, while temps over the southeast part of Australia will stay in the 60’s.
