Weather Forecast for North America on August 29, 2013

Frontal boundary moving into the east coast will bring showers over portions of the northeast US; a frontal boundary will bring another day of rain to Greenland. Showers will be over the southwest US and western Mexico near the tropical wave. There will be partly cloudy skies for the west and mild weather. Greenland will be looking at 30’s for high temps, while the 60’s and 70’s push into eastern Canada; a few 80’s may make it into the northeast US, mostly 70’s though. The temps will be in the 80’s and a few 90’s for the southeast and Gulf Coast. Temps will be in the 90’s and 100’s over the Northern Plains again.

Weather Forecast for South America on August 29, 2013

Peru to northern Chile will see partly cloudy skies, while eastern Brazil will have afternoon showers. Partly cloudy skies will extend from central Chile into northern Argentina, while rain showers and snow showers will hit southern Chile and southern Argentina. Eastern Brazil will be in the 80’s, while Peru will be in the 60’s Expect the upper 50’s will be over northern Argentina, while the 30’s hit southern Chile and Argentina.

Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on August 29, 2013

Partly cloudy skies from England to Northern Europe and through most of Spain, the partly cloudy skies will also extend into Italy, as well. A few showers will be possible from Germany to Moscow. The Middle East will be hot and dry again. Temps will be in the 70’s for western England, warming to the 80’s for Spain and Italy. Temps will be in the 90’s-110 for the Middle East.

Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on August 29, 2013

Partly cloudy skies in store for northern Africa, while a few showers and thunderstorms will be along central Africa near the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ). Partly cloudy skies will extend over South Africa and into Madagascar and the Cape Verde Islands. The majority of Africa will be in the 80’s with a few 90’s; however, the 60’s will be in South Africa.

Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on August 29, 2013

The southwest monsoon will bring another day of showers to India, with the potential for more flooding. There will also be possible heavy rainfall over Sri Lanka, while afternoon showers will impact the weather from Singapore to Malaysia and into Thailand. Temps will be in the 80’s and 90’s across the entire region.

Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on August 29, 2013

High pressure will slide into most of eastern China and expand into the Korea’s along with northeast Russia. This will bring partly cloudy skies from Hong Kong to Shanghai and into Seoul. There will be a few showers over portions of Japan along a frontal boundary, especially around Tokyo. There will be partly cloudy skies and finally some drier weather for Manila, while afternoon thunderstorms will be possible over Guam. Colder air will be in place over northeast Russia with high temps in the 50’s, while the 60’s will be over northern Japan. Expect warming to the 70’s and 80’s for eastern China through Tokyo. Temps will be in the upper 80’s over Hong Kong and also Manila, along with Guam.

Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for August 29, 2013

A frontal boundary over southwest Australia will bring showers to the region; otherwise, look for partly cloudy skies from Sydney to Auckland and northward into Brisbane. Northern Australia will be in the 70’s, while temps hit the 60’s for southwest Australia, cooler 50’s will be over southeast Australia.
