Weather Forecast for North America on June 28, 2013
A frontal boundary moving across the eastern United States will bring showers and thunderstorms from New York to Florida; some of the storms will be severe, as well. Showers and thunderstorms will also extend into the Gulf Coast region along the frontal boundary. High pressure over the northern Plains will bring nice weather to the region. A frontal boundary moving across western Canada will bring showers to the area. Greenland will see temps in the upper 40’s, while the east coast of Canada and the US move into the 80’s. Expect 90’s for the southeast and Gulf Coast, while 100 plus readings will be over the southwest again. Look for 70’s and 80’s over the west coast with cooler weather over the Pacific Northwest into western Canada.
Weather Forecast for South America on June 28, 2013
Sunny skies will prevail from Peru to northern Brazil and westward into northern Chile. Look for partly cloudy skies from central Brazil southward, becoming cloudy over southern Argentina. Temps will be in the 80’s over most of Brazil, cooling to the 70’s for Peru and the mid 50’s for parts of Chile. The southern part of South America will be in the 30’s and 40’s.
Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on June 28, 2013
Western Europe will enjoy sunny to partly cloudy skies from England to Scandinavia. Eastern Europe will see partly cloudy skies and warmer weather. The Middle East will be sunny and hot. Temps will be in the 70’s for London and parts of Italy, while the warmer weather will be over Spain and France where temps could soar into the mid 80’s. The Middle East will see temps in the 110-120F range with a lot of sunshine.
Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on June 28, 2013:
Partly cloudy skies will persist from northern Africa into central Africa, while partly cloudy skies and breezy conditions will extend across South Africa towards Madagascar. Temps will be in the 80’s over northern Africa cooling to the 60’s for Cape Town and the upper 70’s for Madagascar.
Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on June 28, 2013
Showers will still be over northern India. However, the monsoonal trough will back down again, allowing for improving weather conditions across most of Southeast Asia, with just a few afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Temps in the region will range from the upper 90’s to near 100 over Northern India to the lower 90’s from Singapore to Jakarta.
Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on June 28, 2013
Partly to mostly cloudy skies will be found over northeast Russia and northern Japan, while showers will stretch from Shanghai to Tokyo along the frontal boundary. Afternoon thunderstorms will be isolated over Hong Kong, becoming more widespread for Manila and Guam. Temps will be warm over northeast Russia, we could see upper 80’s and even a few 90’s. Temps over Shanghai to Tokyo will be in the upper 80’s, along with Hong Kong and Guam; however, Manila will be in the mid 90’s.
Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for June 28, 2013
High pressure will begin to build in over the west allowing for nice weather, while a few showers will remain over eastern Australia around Sydney. Also look for showers over parts of New Zealand. Temps will be in the 70’s for western Australia, cooling to the 50’s for southeast Australia and a few 40’s over New Zealand.
