Weather Forecast for North America on March 27, 2013
High pressure over the central United States will bring some very cold air to a good portion of the United States with many frost and freeze warnings already been issued. A strong low pressure area is moving towards Greenland and Iceland and will bring areas of snow to the region along with strong winds. Another low pressure area will be working towards the Gulf of Alaska and will bring cloudy skies to the region. Northeasterly winds will bring plenty of rain showers to Hawaii. High temps for tomorrow will range from -14F in Greenland and Iceland to the mid 20’s over the northern United States and Canada. There will high temps in the 60’s for the Southwest US. The southeast and gulf coast will see another day of below average temps.
Weather Forecast for South America on March 27, 2013
A few showers will be possible across the northern part of the country in portions of Brazil and Peru. Another area of low pressure will be moving towards the southwest coast; this will bring warmer weather and cloudy conditions to the region. Temps will range from the upper 80’s to lower 90’s over Brazil to the mid 70’s through central South America and then drop to the 30-40’s through the Andes and southern part of South America.
Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on March 27, 2013
A few snow showers will be possible through the Scandinavian region. High pressure over central Europe will bring partly cloudy skies to the region. Low pressure moving towards England will bring increased clouds and a few showers by evening to the region. High pressure over the Middle East will create sunny skies and a warm day. High temps will be in the teens to 20’s for northern Europe, while the 40-50’s will dominate most of central Europe. High temps will be in the upper 50’s to lower 60’s for a line from Spain to Italy. The temps in the Middle East will range from the upper 80’s to lower 90’s.
Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on March 27, 2013
A weak area of low pressure will be over northwestern Africa; this will bring increased clouds to the area. High pressure will dominate most of the country with plenty of sunshine. An area of low pressure to the east of Madagascar will bring some showers to the region. This will also extend into portions of Africa. High pressure to the southeast of Africa will bring partly cloudy skies to South Africa. The extreme northwest and southeast portion of the country will see high temps in the mid 70’s to lower 80’s, while the rest of the country sees temps in the upper 80’s to lower 90’s.
Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on March 27, 2013
High pressure over India will keep the region dry; however, look for showers and isolated thunderstorms to develop over Colombo, Sri Lanka. Showers will also be possible over Singapore and the extreme southern portion of this outlook region. Partly cloudy skies will prevail over Thailand and Vietnam. Temperatures will be in the mid 70’s for northern India, warming to the upper 70’s to lower 80’s for southern India and into the upper 70’s to lower 80’s for places like Singapore and Thailand.
Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia on March 27, 2013
Low pressure moving through northeast Russia, will bring snow showers to the region and colder weather. Another area of low pressure will be moving out of eastern China and will bring rain and snow to the region. Expect this to move eastward into the Korea’s and Japan by evening. A nice day in store for Hong Kong and Manila, with partly cloudy skies expected. Temps will be in the 20-30’s for northeast Russia, warming to the 40’s and 50’s for Japan, the Korea’s and Eastern China. Look for upper 60’s to lower 70’s for Hong Kong and upper 70’s to lower 80’s for Manila.
Weather Forecast for the Islands of (Guam and New Zealand) and Australia for March 27, 2013
A weak area of low pressure moving through northern Australia will bring increased clouds to the region. Otherwise high pressure over the western part of the country will make for a nice day in the region down into Perth. Low pressure moving south of Australia will bring a few showers to places near Sydney by the later afternoon. High pressure will bring partly cloudy skies to New Zealand. Temps will be in the mid 70’s for the east coast, while in the outback look for temps to be in the upper 80’s. Temps in the southwest, near Perth, will be in the mid 60’s to upper 70’s.
