International Weather Outlook: May 13, 2013

Weather Forecast for North America on May 13, 2013

A few snow showers will be possible over Greenland, while partly cloudy skies will extend from Iceland, back into eastern Canada and also the eastern United States. Partly cloudy skies associated with high pressure will bring cool weather to the Ohio River valley and also the Mid-Atlantic. High pressure along the Gulf Coast will bring partly cloudy skies to that area and also into the southern Plains. The west will be in for a dry and warm day as well. A few snow showers will be possible over southern Alaska. Temps will be in the 20’s over Greenland, warming to the 30’s for Iceland. The 50’s and 60’s will be found along the Canadian east coast all the way into the northeast. The 60’s and 70’s will be found in the southeast and into the Gulf Coast. Warm weather will be in store for the Rockies, with temps reaching the 80 degree mark for Idaho and parts of Montana.

Weather Forecast for South America on May 13, 2013

Most of South America will see partly cloudy skies from Brazil to Peru and southward into Chile. There will be a few showers possible for southern Argentina. Eastern Brazil will see temps in the 80’s while the majority of northern South America sees temps in the 60’s and 70’s. Chile and southward along the west coast will be in the 30’s and 40’s. Southern Argentina will fall into the 20’s and 30’s.

Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on May 13, 2013

Partly cloudy skies are in store for England, while a few showers will spread across the Sweden and Denmark region. Sunny skies will extend from Spain all the way across into Italy. The sun will also be out over the Middle East, along with very warm weather. The 50’s will be over England and into Denmark, while the 70’s dominate northern Spain. We are looking at 80’s over southern Spain. The 70’s will dominate eastern Europe with a few 80’s over Italy. The heat will be in place over the Middle East with temps in the 90’s to 100’s.

Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on May 13, 2013

Sunny skies will dominate northern Africa, while partly cloudy skies will be possible along the west coast. Partly cloudy skies will also extend towards South Africa and northward towards Madagascar. Look for a few showers over eastern Africa. Partly cloudy skies will also be over the Cape Verde Islands. South Africa will be the cool spot with temps in the 70’s, while the rest of Africa will be in the lower to mid 80’s. The Cape Verde Islands will be in the 70’s.

Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on May 13, 2013

New Delhi will see partly cloudy skies and another warm day. Showers will move into Sri Lanka and parts of Burma and Thailand into the Maldives associated with a tropical cyclone. Afternoon showers will also dominate from Singapore to Jakarta. A warm day in store for northern India with temps in the 90’s. The upper 80’s will be over Sri Lanka and eastward into Singapore and Jakarta.

Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on May 13, 2013

Partly cloudy skies across northeast Russia will extend southward into Shanghai and also over towards the Korea’s and most of Japan. Sunny skies will dominate the weather over southeast China into Hong Kong. Look for showers over Manila and eastward into Guam. The 40’s will be found across most of northeast Russia, warming to the 50’s over northern Japan and the 60’s and 70’s for the Korea’s and central Japan. The 80’s will be over Hong Kong and into Manila; also looking at 80’s over Guam.

Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for May 13, 2013

There will be partly cloudy skies over northern Australia, which will also dominate Western Australia. A few showers will be possible over Sydney. Auckland will see partly cloudy skies. Western Australia will be in the 70’s. The 60’s will dominate most of Australia. Southeast Australia will be in the 50’s and 60’s.
