Weather Forecast for North America on September 22, 2013:
A frontal boundary moving along the eastern US and Canada will bring showers to the region; some heavy rainfall will be possible. There will also be areas of heavy rainfall along the southeast and Gulf Coast of the US. High pressure over the Plains will bring a nice day to the region, although it will be a touch on the cool side. High pressure along the western US will keep the area dry and warm, while another storm system enters into the Gulf of Alaska. Temps will be in the 20’s and 30’s over Greenland, warming to the 50’s over eastern Canada and the 60’s and 70’s along most of the US east coast. Expect it to warm to the 70’s and 80’s for the southeast and Gulf Coast. Temps will be in the 70’s and 80’s over the western US, as well.
Weather Forecast for South America on September 22, 2013
Peru to Brazil will enjoy partly cloudy skies; however, southeastern Brazil will see showers during the afternoon. Partly cloudy skies will carry through most of Chile and Argentina, but a frontal boundary going through the southern part of Chile and Argentina will bring showers and snow showers to the region. Temps will be in the 70’s and 80’s across Peru and Brazil. Temps will fall to the 60’s over northern Argentina, falling to the 30’s over southern Chile and Argentina.
Weather Forecast for Europe and the Middle East on September 22, 2013
High pressure over most of Europe will bring partly cloudy skies from London to northern Sweden and through most of Central Europe. Sunny skies will dominate the weather from Spain to Italy and southward into the Middle East. Temps will be in the 50’s over northern Europe, warming to the 60’s and 70’s from England to Germany and further warming to the 80’s and 90’s over southern Spain into Italy and southward. The Middle East will see temps in the 100-110 range.
Weather Forecast for Africa and the Cape Verde and Madagascar Islands on September 22, 2013
Northern Africa will enjoy sunny skies and warm weather. While showers and thunderstorms will dominate a good portion of central Africa along with cooler temps, Southern Africa will see partly cloudy skies and breezy conditions. Temps will be in the 80’s and 90’s across a good portion of the region, cooling to the 60’s and 70’s for southern Africa.
Weather Forecast for Southeast Asia on September 22, 2013
The southwest monsoon will bring another day of moderate rainfall across India and into Sri Lanka. Heavy rainfall will also be possible over Singapore and Malaysia. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms will be possible over Thailand and into Vietnam. Temps will be in the 80’s and 90’s across the entire region from India to Sri Lanka and eastward into Singapore and Thailand.
Weather Forecast for Eastern Asia and the island of (Guam) on September 22, 2013
High pressure will bring partly cloudy skies to Shanghai and Seoul, while a frontal boundary will bring showers to Tokyo. Typhoon Usagi will be making landfall over southeast China, very close to Hong Kong with serious conditions. With storm surge, damaging winds, flooding rains, mudslides it is a very dangerous situation. A new tropical will start to bring moderate rainfall to Iwo Jima, while afternoon thunderstorms will be possible from Manila to Guam. Temps will be in the 40’s over northern Russia, warming to the 60’s and 70’s over eastern China along with Seoul and Tokyo. A few 80’s may be possible in the region. Temps will be in the 70’s over Hong Kong, warming to the 80’s and 90’s for Manila, along with Guam.
Weather Forecast for the Island of (New Zealand) and Australia for September 22, 2013
A frontal boundary moving along the southwest coast of Australia will bring showers to the region. A tropical air mass returns to the northeast part of Australia, bringing showers and thunderstorms to Brisbane, while partly cloudy skies will be found from Northern Australia into Sydney. Temps will be in the 70’s and 80’s over northern Australia cooling to the 60’s over Sydney and Perth.
