Wind Power Record Set In Colorado

According to CNN Money, the state of Colorado set a U.S. record on the morning of April 15th when the state’s biggest utility generated 57% of its electricity from wind power.
With over 1.4 million customers, Xcel Energy receives on average, 17% of its energy needs from wind, far exceeding the 3% average use on the national level.
